Now its rare i come up with a question these days as i have been here so long but they are always thought provoking and new!

I thought i would poll it as we are likely to get honest answers when there is a option of being autonomous

Your walking home and lets say you use an alleyway that leads to a green/park/recreation ground towards your home, as you are about to turn the corner you notice a pretty hot chick struggling with a man as he is pulling her to the ground on the park around 10 feet from you, he is over powering her and you have a fair idea what is going to happen to her as she is losing the fight.

You are the only help she has and your about to witness a real rape...

What would you do?

Girls i guess you could answer this one too if you want

1. You could act yourself as your fairly big and can handle yourself?

2. There is a public telephone box at the other end of the alleyway you have just came from to call the police?

3. Or you are fairly well hidden and can watch this cute babe get taken right in front of you against her will?

Damn it, hmmm, I would be tempted to watch for a bit, but in all honesty, if I was there I would proberly grab something and knock the guy out.

I mean, as much as I find rape hot in movies and stuff, the actual reality of it and what it can do to a woman isn't so sexy, and we have to respect that.

Well, if it were really for real, I would intervene. But I don't think you need to be big for that, a simple "Hey, what's going on over there?!" shout would probably scare the guy off

I voted for using the phone first to get the cops there as fast as possible, I would probably try to get him off of her but the issue with going after him is that you don't know if the attacker has a weapon or not? If he has a gun you're sol and jwf; shit out of luck and jolly well fucked!

If he has a knife you could get it away from him or be stabbed to death, which would not help the victim very much, not too mention it wouldn't do wonders for you either.

Agreed I'm not very strong but I can defend myself. Nonetheless I think intervening when someone's in danger is a person's duty, not a choice.
