A remake by who? You don't mean Hollywood I hope, they have mangled every European movie they have ever copied. Irreversable would just be turned into some sex free flick but with lots of car chases and explosions and about fifty random shootings.

Another remake I'd like to see: How about a remake of Lipstick ....

When super model Chris McCormick (Margaux Hemingway) is brutally raped and sodomized by her sister Kathy's (Mariel Hemingway) music teacher Gordon Stuart (Chris Sarandon), she presses charges against him. He is found innocent by a jury much to the chagrin of District Attorney Carla Bondi (Anne Bancroft). When Stuart rapes Kathy, Chris must avenge both horrible acts.

For the remake I would cast Britney Spears into the role of Chris and Jamie-Lynn Spears into that of her sister Kathy. For the role of Gordon Stuart I suggest Robert Davi.

Love the idea of remakes of movies with classic rape scenes in them. Everyone here must have their own favorites. Take the Death Wish movies. If remade today who would be cast as :
Death Wish - Bronson's daughter mouthfucked by Jeff Goldblum = Julia Roberts???
Death Wish II - the Spanish housekeeper gang raped = Jennifer Lopez???
Obviously they'd never take them - but if I see a rape scene in an older movie I'm always fantasizing about which current Hollywood starlet I'd like to see recast in the role.
