UK Rape Porn Laws - Rape Board

Back in 2005 a man murdered a teacher violently, it was stated he used to visit and had membership to rape, snuff and brutal violence websites.

The mother of the murdered teacher campained the goverment to make it illegal in the UK to host websites with such material, in Dec05-Jan06 the law was due and i believe did come into effect but they also went one step further and stated that they would also consider prosecuting UK residents that sign onto these sites and trace them with there credit cards like they do with Child porn sites, they would prosucute Uk residents for being a member of paid sites, being in possession of obsense material and for viewing the material via the sites.

My question is for UK based members. Where you aware of this law change and if you were has it stopped you signing onto paid sites.

Myself it has stopped me signing onto sites so i get my material via P2P and these boards.

I'm not British but I just want to say that I think this law is a violation of some type of civil rights or privacy rights. If you are paying for access to these sites then you should not be punished for that. Also these types of individuals are not created from this material, they are created either from birth, as in a mental condition, or possibly from an extremely abusive childhood. Just my opinion. BTW, hunter what p2p do you consider to be the best; I've used Bearshare.

People have been trying use the internet as an excuse for sexual predatory behavior just like they used to try to blame it on titty bars or adult book stores. The fact is that more women probably owe their safety to these outlets of pent up sexual frustration than might ever be hurt by the few individuals who may get their ideas from such a site.

Imagine if I have a heart attack because I'm fat and I get a law passed to not allow Twinkies to be allowed to be advertised on the net. Ban all the websites that might give me the recipe for chocolate cake.

The gun manufacturers and knife manufacturers or automobile manufacturers aren't sued when an item they created is used to kill someone. Beer and whiskey companies are not sued for drunk driving deaths or liver problems.

The key is that pathetic christian based organizations sieze on these opportunities to try to cleanse the world to their bland likings. It's not bad enough that we have a murdered teacher and an obviously sick individual, we have to try to impose our (their) vision of world purity on the rest of us.

Here's one for the pseudo godly. What website did Cain get the idea from to bash Abel's head in way back in Genesis? What adult bookstore infected him?

Maybe if he'd have had a place where he could share his fantasies with others, he'd have found a non violent way to vent.

Oh, well, perhaps when they invent the time machine, and I go back and murder my great grandparents, I can sue the manufacturers for selling such item to such an unstable piece of krap like me.

But if I did that, I won't be here, so how could I buy it in the first place?

This reminds of a Twilight Zone episode about a space crew and people who launched a vehicle which touched the outer limits of the galaxy.

One by one, they began disappearing, and the last one, went bonkers.
...and eventually he disappeared. And the episode ended with an empty launching pad. Nothing there.

OH, yeah, maybe I will disappear. Like the Chesshire Cat.

Maybe one day, I will attempt to reach RapeBoard, and it will have suffered a similar fate.
