ahhh yes, i will be getting up at 6 am before my first class to vote, and i'm pretty sure the tiredness i will feel working till 3 am the next morning will make me never want to vote again.

It's funny my entire apartment is basically voting to counteract our parent/siblings votes.

That's what i mean 100percent.People who vote for the wrong reasons.There should be a test to see if you know anything about the issues.It's kind of sad the reasons people end up voting.

i think this election has really divided America...

i didn't mean that we were voting specifically to spite our parents/siblings, i was merely finding humor in the fact that our votes were only going to cancel out their votes.

i do agree that this country has divided america, though, especially parents and young adults of voting age.

the only way i would be in favor of this is if the candidates have to stick to the issues only . no more "lipstick on a pig" , "review mirror" and all the rest of the crap that is said . when the candidates don't talk issues , instead make it popularity contest you can't expect the people to act differently than they do .

I totally see what your sayin Touri but i don't expect the candidates to be anything more than what they are and thats scumbags who will do anything for a vote.Where i try to have more faith in the people.(i know thats naive and stupid) To see through all the pageantry and Big idea slogans.To the core of what the candidates are.Like i said naive and super frustrating...what can you do...

have to agree, i don't believe you'll find a single politician, much less one who has made it to the level of running for president, that isn't insanely corrupt and insanely fake, it is what you have to do to get elected. Sell out your morals to get big companies with big influence on your side and then sell out your true self to ensure that as many people as you can get to like you, like you.
