Stop the thanking - Page 4 - Rape Board

General information:

a) If you want your thread to be free from any useless "thx"-posts, put it in there (like Crotch_Ripper did for example). Any posts like that left there anyway will be deleted without further consideration.
b) Right now checking all threads for useless "thank you"-posts unfortunately takes more time than I can (and am willing to) spend here. So drop us a short PM (with the spammer's username) and we'll deleted such posts.
c) Even when it comes to a decent "thank you"-post ... one per thread is certainly enough.
d) Not every moderator handles the situation the same way, they all can make their own decision about how to handle it.
Here's how I usually work: If a spammer's posts range in the handfuls I simply delete the posts (down to zero) to give those persons a chance to reconsider. Should their spam count rise above my fingers however I ban them permanently for spamming.

We're dealing with a lot of selfish, unreasonable people so appealing to their sense of common courtesy is something that's not going to work, I'm afraid.

To be honest I have some thanx at my name as well... But I think if somebody has a nice thread I thank him for the movies. (I give rep as well). And I don't keep in mind if I have thanked him 1 or 2 months before. I don't go to the whole hread each time but only the new sections. So I am guilty as well for the thanx. Although I admid it is somethimes anoying seeying pplp only saying thanx with 5 posts

I could be wrong But I don't think you are the type of person they are really after. The problem is the people who only post "THNX".. or "Thanks for the vids" because they want their post count to rise because they want to download more videos which may have a higher post count restriction on them.

Of course I can't speak for the uploaders ( As I am not one of them) But that is the general impression that i get.
