Obama's golden touch(or the delusion surrounding it)has definitely faded a bit.Many people i know who voted for him now feel like idiots.

I think he strikes me as a beautiful man. A family man with a vision to change his country and the world as a whole for the better. His wife appears to be lovely and his family seem to be happy. I think he is a breath of fresh air for Americans and if I was America I would vote for him without a question. If he ran for Prime Minister I would vote for him here.

The only bad thing is I said similar things about Tony Blair who turned out to be a conman who's only interest was his own legacy.

I give him the benefit of the doubt. If Obama is what he was portrayed as then I think he is the person who will lead the world out of trouble and into the future. Although it could turn out to be a big disappointment.

Makes me laugh when he talks about using the sun for global power! He has big ambitious plans and I hope for the Americans and the rest of the world that he becomes what we all hope he will.

I almost feel sorry for the man, he will never be able to live up to all the hype.

All politicians only care about their legacy, as the cynic said, a politicians first duty is remain elected.

Ever watched Yes Minister/ Prime Minister, an old eighties political sitcom (like The New Stateman, but for grown ups) (that makes me sound old don't it)

Personally I think he's the real deal. But no President get's to do whatever he wants. There's always Congress in the way. For good as our founding fathers dictated, or bad when partisanship rules the day.
He may not be perfect when it comes to trying to fix all the crap left over from Shrub, but I do believe he is sincere.
We'll see.

Obama is left with what I would liken to a surgeon that has to operate on a patient who has been blown up by an IED stitched up by a triage unit then dropped out of the ambulance on route to the hospital and run over by a truck

Is he up for it time will tell can he do more harm than good I think not
