Janice was at home, alone, working on her computer. It was one of those rare nights everyone else was out and she had the whole house to herself. She thought this story might be her best yet. It was giving her such naughty thoughts as she worked on it that she was quite distracted and never heard the telltale sounds of breaking glass on the far side of the houseâ€¦

To be fair, the noise was but a faint clink and tinkle upon the linoleum tile of her kitchen floor. The rear door of the house featured one of those inviting doors with a many paned window to let in the sun during the day. The men had done this before, many times before. One of them expertly cut out a small square of the glass closest to the door knob. When it fell inward at his slight push and broke upon the floor he pushed his arm through the newly made hole and unlocked the door from the inside. The three men already had their ski masks and gloves on when they had idled the panel van slowly up the driveway to the rear of the house. They had backed in so that the side cargo door faced the kitchen door and they would be ready for a swift getaway. The fourth man sat at the wheel of the vehicle waiting.

The first man entered putting his glass cutter away in a coat pocket; he readied his pillow case by gathering the edges in his hands and rolling the fabric. The second checked his capture rope making sure it was ready: ensuring that the slip knot was tied tightly, but that the rope could still slide freely through the knot in order to pull the loop of rope tight. The third man stood watch in the kitchen after placing a sealed envelope on the hard wood table The envelope contained simple instructions: do not involve the police or she will be killed, we are watching you.

The pair of intruders crept silently down the hallway. They had been waiting a long time to take Janice captive. They had plans to break her tough, proud spirit before releasing her. Tonight things had finally fallen into place when the van driver had called on his cell phone to alert the others that his surveillance had paid off. The rest of the family had gotten in to their SUV just before sundown. His directional mike had picked up the family's plans to go out for pizza and a movie. Now they had several hours to make their grab and would not have to resort to a riskier abduction in a more public place.

None of them were sure who was paying for this job. It was a custom order and very well compensated. They had been hired by a "broker" who arranged such things. The four who were making the snatch had gotten $25,000 each: half up front, half on completion of the assignment. The extra crew specified was to be paid out of the four partnerâ€™s money, but they had found enough volunteers that they had not needed to cut into their profits.

As the two neared the open door into the study, the first and second man nodded to each other. All set. They knew that Janice would see them the moment they got close to the door and they wanted this to go smoothly. At the first manâ€™s soft grunt they both rushed forward and through the door into the study. Janice screamed and scrambled up out of her chair. She was shocked into stillness, like a deer caught in the headlights while the two men moved around opposite ends of the desk.

Suddenly she found her legs and scrambled over the desk, grabbing her cell phone as she went. Her laptop smashed to the floor as she jumped off the desk and bolted for the door. Her quick recovery left them a bit startled and they lagged behind as she ran down the hall yelling as loudly as she could. Her misfortune was not knowing that there was a third man waiting in the kitchen and that was the direction she had turned. The third man rapidly moved to block his end of the hall while the first two captured her. She struggled as best she could against the large men but it was a lost cause. Her cell phone was stripped from her hand to lie uselessly on the hallway floor. Soon the pillowcase was over her head and duct tape not only held it in place, but gagged her as well. The rope was pulled over her torso and the loop closed bitingly around her elbows. There was plenty of extra to wind around her body and tie her tightly from her arms all the way to her ankles.

She found herself easily carried out to the waiting van which sped off with her. She was blindfolded and trussed. Two of the men began groping her roughly and laughing while the third explained. Someone had paid very well to have her abducted and taken to a warehouse. She was to be gang raped by ten men and the whole thing filmed. The â€œproducerâ€ didnâ€™t want a ransom. He wanted the film. He had requested her specifically. The men would be allowed to be as brutal as they pleased. It seems Janice had an enemy. A savvy enemy who would make his money back, and then some, by selling copies of his revenge on the internetâ€¦
