I have had private conversations with a couple of board members on this issue in the past, but since another few of my friends felt strongly about it, I chose not to dig it up again. The mods became very protective of the rule and it is not in my nature to disrupt a board that has grown so well in my 2 years here. This is the first time in a long while we have had a proper debate, a number of people before now have gone about it the wrong way (you included, Jack)

It's legal, if no one important finds it. There was a story in the newspaper in the summer about a story of the rape, torture and murder of an British all girl band. Of course, it was branded every word meaning "sick" you can think of, and mentioned security concerns and police inquiries. It was assumed this writer had genuine intentions and seemed to become illegal merely because of who it was about, and because I'm guessing a tale of this kind of horrifc detail had never been brought to public attention before, at least not about that band. What would happen if I sent in my own story to them? Or the 10 or 20 celebrities stories on this board? Would the writer be as targeted as the sole madman, or would we all be the same sick group in their eyes? I don't know. All I know is, mainstream society was not ready for that kind of written fantasy. But hey, isn't it funny when men are sexually assaulted? It's ok, you can laugh, it became acceptable years ago. That's the thing, they can't. Another one I read last year, a woman who wrote paedo stories for a group of about 30 readers, that site was shut down and she was arrested. I didn't shed any tears for them, but this was when I realised the "thought police" were getting serious. Underage sex and fantasy is the most hated thing in the world, so this will overrule freedom of speech, and few will complain. Like murder stories about celebrities, our society isn't ready to accept written fantasy about children, and probably never will be. The law is always going to reflect this.

Scat repulses me, so I don't visit that section.

I think if we, who are a minority, show that we have created a place to fantasize, control and learn about such a controversial fetish, and manage to tolerate and control another minority within the board, it would go a long way to proving our credibility with mainstream society and save ourselves all the hypocrisy, instead of finding a piece on Rapeboard in the paper one day.

well it does seem that some forums can set up sites like Clean wants.
from my studies I have seen quite a few that have included stories were the victim is underaged as in 15 or 14 .

Though stories involving pre teens are something I have never seen.
the thing you mentioned about this story of grims most likely highlights half the problem.
A lot of people maybe less freaked or a lesser amount of people maybe less shocked at a story involving slightly underage teens..
but thats always the problem clean makes one about a 15 year old then Grim makes one about about a 13 year old then the next person makes one about a 11 then the next one involves a 9 year old and everyone gets a hella pissed which sounds like what happened here.

So then Admin decides there has to be limits and will decide that a 18 year limit makes the most sense since it can be justified as fitting in with societies guidelines.
I guess it could also be argued that since the legal age for real sex is 16 then stories involving 16 year olds could be allowed.

Societies sex and age laws are really quite insane in truth since under most nations rules its perfectly legal for a 16 year old to strip down and have real sex but its not legal to write about them doing that or for them to pose naked on sex sites.

One posters scenarios involving rape fantasies was interesting in asking if the reaction would be the same if the rapist was underage but the victim was not.

Anyone answering that will probably say yes but in reality it would proberly not illicit the same strong emotional reactions since it wouldn't tap into the desire to protect the way fantasies involving underaged victims do .

And LOL I didn't say I avoid the sex related topics.
this is a sex related topic and I like talking about fetishes in these intellectual style debates and Q&A threads.

I meant I tend to avoid the the RPS and straight out porn sections I don't get involved in threads that are just plain sexual threads.
I have read some RPS and stories but don't tend to get involved in them or to read them that often.
But I don't avoid sex topics its just I am more into the ones that ask what peoples tastes are or why they have them ones that are about the fetish rather than ones that are dedicated to praising then or taking part in or simulating them

Oh also I discovered after coming here that I wasn't really into rape fetish and hated the overly realistic violent or emotion based ones at least when it came to viewing them as sexual turn ons.
I think I have more of a enforced bondage very much fantasy fetish, more inline with the stuff on sites like hogtied rather than a actual rape fetish.
Even the type of rape fantasy that does turn me on is very very fictionlized in that yes it may inolve some elment of forced sex but theres never much in the way of violence threats intimidation or fear of death in them.

I guess that kind of is relevant to the underage thing again theres lots of fantasies here that many maybe against like overly cruel rape ones or scat incest and beastality (bondage is pretty much even accepted by mainstream society now) but people don't tend to get highly judgmental about others having them.
It evokes a kind of well thats not for me but so long as they are not forcing me or any other non consenting person to take part in it then its up to them what they want to be into.
Underage sex is different maybe because it taps into peoples natural and emotional instincts to want to protect the very young and presumed innocent.
