Kristen had thought the witch costume was fun at first, even if she had thought herself a little old for Halloween at 22, tight black dress, pointed hat, black fishnet stockings, black stiletto heels. she and her friends had all laughed as they trick or treated, enjoying the admiring glances from the male homeowners.

She had somehow separated from her friends, she was on a street she didn't recognize, the wind had picked up, it was really getting cold.

Only one house had a light on, Kristen checked her phone, dead, she screwed up her courage and walked to the door to ask to use the phone...
