I guess some would describe My approach to be more like "Macgivers", I tend to improvise. but there is always that One irreplaceable item you have to bring along.

Bungee's are almost as useful as ducttape for so many things. Every home has a shower curtain and the rings they hang on make a fine improvised ring gag when used with a bungee. A wrap around a wrist or ankle and hooked to itself then the tail stretched to the bed frame gives fast and sure imprisonment as well as flexibility while she struggles. 3-4 wraps around both wrists and she can struggle all she wants... she is going nowhere.

As a victim I would never want him punished. At best I would want him arrested and then find myself the victim once again during the trial.
