Have you ever noticed women are much more creative than men when it comes to clothes ? All we are wearing is suits in business situations or the jean/t-shirt/basket formula. Maybe the fact that woman are more creative is the reason (one of the reasons) why they get competitive. It's like if you take a famous guy from the fashion industry and you put him in country where he'd be surrounded by farmers all day then after years he may end up dressing like them, with very simple clothes and a complete abnegation of tones harmony. The opposite can be true for a female when she enters the university and gets surrounded by very creative girls. She's likely to develop a complex and start to buy more clothes and try to define her own style. Beauty often stands in difference. You can find millions of good actors, good musicians or good models, but finding one who has a style on his own is very difficult. That's why bands like Ac/Dc will always get the attention because they are unique. If you blindfold a guy, you tie him to a chair and force him to listen to a dozen bands, he probably won't be able to name them but he will recongnize good old Angus and his team because they don't sound like others.

Something I will never understand is why it is considered normal in every cultures that men have to make the first step to women. A women who acts flirty is gonna get a whore reputation in no time and that is really unfair. I would like to understand where that paradox stands from. I find it very beautiful to see a women hitting on a guy with malicious eyes.
