So the British government made the IRA plant bombs in places like Birmingham, Warrington, Guildford, London? Did they do it at gunpoint, or under duress of some sort? Or were the British government at the time rather persuasive?
Perhaps I’m just a bit slow, but I can’t see how the actions of the IRA are the responsibility of any one but the IRA.
