If it to be a WW2 scene, I doubt the Russians or Germans had nylon stockings at the time. They were only invented and made available to the USA consumers around the time WW2 started, so I doubt they had any in Europe. A lot of US soldiers used to give them to women in Britain and Europe, as gifts or maybe in exchange for sexual favors.
