Regarding Merkel, when was the last time you had your eyes tested? Thatcher whilst not a beauty, certainly had grace and poise. Merkel is a drudge, and her resemblance to Adolf Hitler in both appearance, and her ambition for Germanys place in Europe is frankly disturbing!

As far as my eyes are concerned, I can still spot an incoming Mourning Dove at more than 600 yards and still see the mint date on coins. I suggest you try using your eyes rather than your feelings to see the world around you.

Yes, Thatcher had class, poise and grace. She was a close confidant of Reagan and she was by all accounts and actions a true conservative. I thought her articulate manner and political views made her a beautiful person. Merkel may very well be a drudge. None of which changes my opinion that Merkel in outward appearance looks like a poorly groomed sister of Thatcher.

I'm leaving this conversation and continuing an ongoing argument with a dead tree stump in my south pasture regarding the value of termites. It would seem that I'm making more headway with that argument. Of course, it could be that the termites are making it appear so.
