My old friend, I would never enter a slanging match with an old professional slanger such as yourself. My posting of the statistics of casualties was to point out the overwhelming % of losses suffered by Britain as opposed to the US. The British lost almost one out of every 100 of their population. That is staggering to the point of almost disbelief. I agree, it was an extraordinary example of man's inhumanity to man.

Where we have a problem is the never ending downplaying of the US role in the conflict. The Brits are like the 101st airborne trapped in Belgium never admitting that they were rescued.

In closing, Patton had multiple affairs with a series of women. He even had a brief incestuous relationship with his niece. However, there is no record that I can find of him ever having a female driver or an affair with a female driver. But, if he did, who gives a shit!

West Point graduates of the period were all well versed in the needs of fighting men throughout history. Sex was considered as important as a good morning piss.

Patton was an absolute military genius. Even the Germans knew this.

Once more, our liberal politically correct media damned near lost the fucking war!

Patton was the least politically correct US general in our history (with the possible exceptions of MacArthur and Arnold).

Patton had a high pitched almost squeaky voice that endeared him to very few. The results of his command should endear him to everyone in the "free world" including the habitually egotistical and ungrateful British and French.
