The evil that was Hitler needed to be sent to hell as quickly as possible. In my vernacular, that son of bitch desperately needed killin. As far as the "commies", in light of the fact that we still had a war in the Pacific to win, we probably took the correct action at the end of the war in Europe. However, in hind sight, millions of innocent lives could have been saved if we had taken the equally evil Stalin out while we had our army in position. We had MacArthur in Japan, how about Eisenhower or Montgomery in Russia? Could Patton have really started a conflict that could have been blamed on the Russians and would the US Congress have declared war against Russia? Would England have stood with the US? More importantly, would Scotland have been on board? Of course, how tough is it to get a Scot fighting mad?

Anyone have a theory regarding the death of General George S. Patton?
