Prologue.

This is the first of what hopefully will become a series regarding the exploits of a modern day "Man With No Name". Mr Smith, a nameless, faceless apparition who appears out of the mist to locate his next victim, quickly and silently executes his careful plan, and then vanishes without so much as a trace leaving carnage in his wake.

In this episode, a random encounter at a supermarket starts events in motion that will lead a 30-something suburban family woman to learn what so many women have already discovered. Once you meet Mr Smith, your life is forever changed.

The story is split into twelve separate posts in order to give the reader a bit of a break from one long post-wall.
