I am continually amused by the expression 'fanny'
In the USA it means bum (which equates to the English 'tramp' in the US) whereas in the UK it means pussy (not the feline kind)
If I patted someone on the fanny here, I'd probably end up in the clink (English slang for jail)
Wasn't it Churchill who said the the USA and the UK were two great nations divided by a common language.
