To be fair, even the original Death Wish movie didn't have much of a rape scene, it was really just some aggravated groping
It was Death Wish 2 which is the big ticket item with its rape scenes
It's hard for mainstream filmakers to admit that a rape scene is an attraction for certain viewers
The best rape scenes nowadays are in movies unashamedly going after this perverted viewership
They are not trying to be artsy fartsy, they are not trying to be mainstream
