You might be experiencing a partial download problem. Even though Fileboom is one of the more popular hosts on this board, there are times when it stalls and your system might save the file as complete. Also, your server might be stalling giving you partial downloads. Check your file size with the listed file size in the post. Download the file again. Doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results... well, you know the rest.

I know this is probably rather elementary, but are you using Winrar to un-compress the files prior to trying to open them in VLC?
