I'm going to be very biased because of my tastes, but I agree with everything said here about accentuating legs, running from rapists,
and more. I love the sight of a woman carrying her shoes (again, could be fleeing), I have used a high heel as a foreign object in a roleplay, and generally prefer them to feet, so they will play a part in the caressing of long legs, consensual or otherwise. There are two uses mentioned that really caught my eye.

Same reason as seeing a woman in an uncomfortable gag, ropes etc. For those of us who like heels, this is a bonus.
