I live in the US home of capitalism. I believe what has went wrong is that greed has completely overtaken moral responsibility. Not to long ago workers had loyality to a company and vice versa. That is no longer the case on either side. Greed as replaced any concern for the good of our fellow human. It is all about the bottom dollar.

The companies are not to blame; it is the human stockholders that want every possible dollar return. They stockholders let the companies treat their workers like shit; reward CEOs with obscene salaries and bonuses.

America is a country of hypercritcs. We all bitch about Congress, but I bet almost all of them will get voted back in come November. We look for what is best for us; no longer the common good.

I don't believe socialism is the best. The best is a mixture of striving for one's self while having a moral center.
