That's probably because its not the politicians pushing for this legislation.

The internet as it is today is information.... Information is Power.

20 years from now, (probably less then that actually) it will be very controlled. Much like tv and radio. Corporations are hard at work trying to find ways to control, filter, sensor, and present only the information that they can profit from. And silence those who would rock the cash carrying boat. When they find an avenue to do that... they lobby politicians (bribe) to create legislation that will benefit them.


Yes.... the internet is going to be a very different place in the future kids. Mark my words.
