E gads, a History Major! Strangely enough, I had thought of teaching history after my retirement. With Obama’s redistribution of my wealth plan and horrid economic policies, I’ll be able to retire when I’m only 109 years old.

The cleansing rituals directed by God to the Israelites after the Canaanite horror make the biblical account very believable to me.

In 1933, Hitler’s Nazi Germany came up with the first solution to the “Jewish Problem”. It was called the Haavara Agreement. It provided for Jewish immigration to Palestine. A quickly growing Jewish population in Palestine caused the Arab Revolt from 1936 to 1939. In 1939, the British government’s White Paper satisfied the Arabs by limiting Jewish immigration to 75,000 per year, effectively making the Haavara Agreement null and void.

In the mid seventies, I attended several lectures given by a renowned history PhD at my old university. He made a believable argument that the
Nuremberg Race Laws were an extension of the first solution and possibly a second solution.

Are we really going to argue about whether or not Hitler planned practically every major action taken by the Nazis or simply approved them? Very little was recorded regarding planning sessions, so I’ll go ahead and concede the point. Hitler didn't do it, it was Nazi Germany. I'll ask you one question. Everyone has heard of the infamous "final solution". By definition, doesn't that imply at least one previous solution?

Go ahead and call me “Trump”. I’ve certainly been called worse. As far as FR, I’ve always pictured him as being one half Benny Hill and one half Clive Owen.
