You know what, I actually had a bit of a think about what I said before, and can to a sort of realisation, I think it's because those women would often have black hair (though I of course understand that they wouldn't always). I knew I always liked brunettes but I do like jet black hair and had never fully realised how much it appealed before. So I'm going to say thankyou ChiTownHoney for making me think about it
