The file has a recovery record, so and it was tested, so winrar should have been able to cope with it.

Have you tried it with 7-zip: see my earlier post and guidance.

if that does not work I suggest that you re-download part 1 only, but I think 7-zip is your solution.

i dowloaded all parts again and tried it with 7-Zip...same error as before..

I dont know why you are getting the problems. I have tested both the original uploads and the downloads from the hosting site - and I have had no problems. I would really like to nail this one. Has anybody been able to sucessfully download and compile the vids. If so I would be grateful if you could let me know, either by post on this thread or by PM. Same also goes for those people who have had problems in uncompressing the file.

I'm having the same problems as everyone else winrar gives the error messages that have been mentioned previously, specifically,

CRC failed in the encrypted file
Invalid or corrupt authenticity information
(wrong password?)

and then erases the avi container after the aborted extraction.

7-Zip leaves the first chunk of the extracted avi as a broken file and doesn't try to extract the second two pieces.

I've already started downloading the whole movie via P2P now, thanks for the name of the movie and for the alternate download option too.

CRB - thanks very much that additional bit of information and also for confirming that the alternative link works. This one vid has caused me so many problems, you wont believe it. Deleted from 2 hosting sites, corrupted by one other and it was a nightmare just downloading it in the first place.
