92 Year old D-Day veteran, Bernard Jordan, has arrived back at the nursing home he left without telling anyone, in order to attend the 70th anniversary events in Normandy. Fair fucking play to him, and two fingers up! It's a nursing home, not a fucking prison! :)

I agree. Anyone who went through D-Day deserves every fucking bow and word of thanks we can offer. Most of us spoon-fed, baby-boomer fucks wouldn't have near enough the level oomph or courage to do what he did, even if we were forced into it.

Latest news on Bernard Jordan, the great escaper. Who is actually 90 by the way. Brighton and Hove City Council have awarded him the key to the city. I think this means he gets free booze and whores for the rest of his days, or something. Might be sheep actually. Either way, bloody good job, Bernie. :)
