A flock of crows is often referred to as a parliament. Very fitting for the bunch of scavenging bastards in our parliament.

In light of a board that doesn't seem to be growing...

Rather than quibbling about whether it's a murder of crows or a parliament of owls, it would it seem more important that the question or registration form needs to be modified to allow visitors to more easily become members.

Please note that I made no mention of the U.S Congressional Black Caucus.

unnecessary riddle

Three members here have PMed me regarding FR’s “parliament of crows” comment. I repeat, let’s not quibble over spelling, grammar, punctuation, definition, personalities or the lack thereof.

The important thing is that there is a glitch in the membership registration form that precludes new members.

New members could bring in much needed new material and possibly help end the decline in active contributing members.

I know dozens of inactive members and only a handful of active members.

Some great members have died, some were banned, others were chased away and some just left in plain disgust. Meanwhile, potential new members get tangled up in a "riddle" about what a row of crows is called.

It’s a hell of a way to run a railroad.
