What the fuck is going on in the world of the Nobel Prize committee?

I've got nothing against Obama but how the fuck did he manage to score the Nobel Peace Prize? Apart from only being in the job of President for ten minutes what is peaceful about the prosecution of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Have the Swedes lost it or do they want something from the USA? It's as bad as giving the Nobel Literature Prize to Jeffrey Archer.

Hence why he created the prize...So he could at least lessen the association with that name.
Also, in the history of TNT, the purpose for it's creation was not to kill. Like many other inventions, someone else decided to use it for something other than what it was intended. Does not mean Noble should be forever comdemned for it.
