rape, then kill?
 

i never understood why someone fantasizes about raping and then killing a person. I never fantasize about killing the victim. I want her to remember me forever. I want to see her to go through the physical and emotional pain. So, anyone?

The only reason I can see for raping and then killing the person afterward is the fear of being caught. If you honestly enjoy something that is illegal, you wish to leave no evidence behind. I know that if you kill someone you have a good chance of being caught, but if you are good at it, that won't happen.

Maybe the person that fantasizes about raping and then killing the victim has considered actually doing it and is having problems accepting what may happen, if a breaking point is crossed.

Sorry if my answer ends up off subject, but I minor in human psychology so the human mind fascinates me to no end.

on occassion i do have stories where the victim dies, this due partially to it being a torture rape story rather then simple rape. something like that "hostel" movie.
but if it's regular rape, even with monsters, I generally don't have them get killed cuz in a way the killing is kind of a turn off.

I try to not "bump" fading threads, but I just saw this one.

When I fantasize or when I write a rape-themed story; I try to make the experience believable. Sometimes the rape is the goal and sometimes it is an accessory. Sort of a bonus.

Of course that's just my two cents on the issue. And when I "accept" death as a tool or plot device, it's often a "gentle" death; often occuring while the victim is unconscious and not in a position to suffer... unless it's a case of teaching a "bad girl" one final lesson... :cool:
