Would some pro from Dover explain why my IMDB favicon fails to show up at times from some of my posts?

I routinely use it to give names and descriptions of my posts.

Example:

http://www.imdb.com/favicon.ico

On the same post, sometimes it appears and sometime it doesn't?

Aren't favicons supposed to be for browsers address bar, rather than for use in posts?
