Letang is a hell of a player and does remind one of Coffee and the Pens are lucky to have him! Of course the Wings have Kronwall as their upcoming replacement of Lidstrom and he's got a physical edge to his game that is just plain brutal at times! Stupid rule against headshots limits that now though!

If we didn't have the headshot rule, Cooke would have given half the NHL concussions by now. :D

It's funny, the game I went to was against Toronto. We should have fought them tonight a lot more. I would feel better about them having lost. It was stiill a very good intense game. One bloody goal. We really need someone good in a face off that can fucking play. Stupid concussion.

The Wings game was a loss 1-0 and it was one of those frustrating games where Detroit outshoots and dominates their opponent but can't get one past the goaltender. AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!

I would almost be tempted. Geno isn't ptting up his usual show. But then coming back from torn ACL and MCL I don't expect him to be top form yet. Plus I am loyal to my guys. I think we will keep our gangly Russian for a while. Johnson was goalie tonight so mayne he was having an off game. Tell your guys to go 5 hole against the Leafs. Seems to be a weak spot.

Okay then how about Zetterburg for Jordan Staal?
Realy what the Red Wings need is a dyed in the wool scoring wing who shoots the puck! And don't worry, Malkin will get his game going before too long and might have himself an MVP type season.

No way Staal is fourth in the league for shooters so far this year... oddly enough cooke is first.

Yeah, but once Crosby is back Staal will be relegated to 3rd line minutes and so he needs to play where he'll get more playing time!:D

Well he is not playing at all right now. Injury. And god can not wait til Crosby comes back. He may be whiney but he is spectacular.

Spectacular but whiney is a good description of Sidney Crosby! And since Staal is injured (hard to keep track of all the injured Penguins!) then a trade for a healthy Zetterberg would work out good...:cool:

Filpulla is a good utility forward who can chip in some offense but I'd sure love to see him traded for a wing who can put the puck in the back of the net!
