There's something I never understood about youTube and it's how do they have allowance to share artists videos when Napster and people sharing mp3 ended up in court ?

What really pisses me off about Youtube is the way they are great at keeping out porn. Yet there is no problem finding countless videos of executions, accident victims and all kinds of really disturbing stuff.

In fairness..... I want youtube to clean the other stuff up, as well as keep out porn..... I can find my porn on plenty of other sites.....

About ten years ago, before the sale, there was an internal email at youtube that basically stated that they estimated they knew they would loose up to 80% of their traffic if they deleted all the copy righted material that they knew existed on their servers..... so they purposely ignore it until they get a "cease and desist" letter from the copy right owner.....

things have changed on the surface since Google purchased them..... but not much.
