I assume you mean that 'you' could blackmail me? You can still make use of it. In fact, I opened a big wide door for blackmail when I basically begged to be kept on. From my standpoint, I would think you'd give me the lowest job, thereby exposing me to company ridicule, earning the sneers of my former colleagues, and allowing you to make me an 'offer' that can be used against me. Perhaps give me the hope that a 'better position' exists...of course, that will be the trap. That's just my opinion.

Would 'he' like to toy with her first...then she begins to put the clues together (perhaps a post or two), then she recognizes him? I rather like her worried, sort of 'what does this guy seem to have against me--we just met?' Rather than my original feeling of her instantly recognizing him. Slight jog of memory.
