The first poem I ever read was about a butterfly.

Lovely Butterfly fluttering freely
Slips through greedy hands and laughs,
Yet tarries overlong and thus
Gets netted for her careless play

I am so pleased to meet you, Dear
And hope you enjoy your stay with us:
It is dark at times, but also there are
A few lights that glimmer brightly...

Seen mostly in the depths of grime
That mire us within this place, but also in
The deep places inside those few
Who might truly touch us...
