you need to dl all the parts and join with a progarm that will concatenate (rejoin) all the parts. On the pc, there is an app called HJSplit, on the mac there is an app called split & concat. You can easily google "join .001 file on pc" to get different apps that will join the parts.

Hey guys, I have one question. I've downloaded links 1,2, and 3. Is there anyway I can join them together to watch the movie? For some reason, I was able to watch part of the movie already. Tha Freak: I've been able to dl and join parts, but they have to be in sequence.
Since you are going on a trip, and you plan to get the whole thing (which is very much worth it, imho), just dl all the parts, and then join the parts.
You join all the parts at the same time, it is 1 movie. It is not a case where you join parts 1 & 2, then join 3 & 4, etc...you join all the parts to get a single movie file.
again, you cannot join middle files alone and hope to see that part of the movie. If you are very impatient, and you already have parts 1,2,3 & 4, you can join those parts and use vlc player (google to find and download that player) to see the partial movie. That works SOMETIMES...no guarantees or warranties tendered. haha
but, really, just dl all the parts and then join them, you'll like the complete movie

I was somehow able to see one part of the movie though....I know it sounds really confusing. Can someone give me instructions on how to use the HJSplit properly? I'm probably not even using it right.

sorry, i am not very familiar with HJSplit, i use Split&Concat on a mac...
and that app allowed me to join parts 1 - 6, to view the partial movie...
but then i dled all the parts to get the full movie.....
also, check to confirm that you have dled the full part...not just part of it
(especially #2, if it seems not to be able to join part three...it might see an incomplete handoff from 2 to 3)
either that, or just wait and enjoy when you finally dl all the parts hahhaa
sometimes patience is a virtue....

Because my computer is extremely slow, and I'm planning on starting over on my downloads since I seemed to have messed up with the whole HJSplit thing. Since I'm going on a trip, I'm' not sure how much computer time I will have. I'm going to bring my labtop though, which I'm using to download the files. All the compressed files in the series should be roughly the same file size except for the last compressed file, which is almost always smaller than the preceding files.

For example, a 525 MB compressed file can be split into 100 MB chunks to be available on rapidshare. It would be split up in something like this:

100 MB / 100 MB / 100 MB / 100 MB / 100 MB / 25 MB

Notice how all the files are around the same size except the last one. If a connection problem occurred, one of the 100 MB chunks might not have downloaded properly. You downloaded file set might look like this instead:

100 MB / 42 MB / 100 MB / 100 MB / 100 MB / 25 MB

In this example, it looks like the second file chunk is corrupted and needs to be downloaded again. All you have to do is delete the old second file and regrab the same second file again. If all things go well with the download, your second file should be 100 MB.
