More time management issues. Got started a lot later than intended and didn't get to the office as I wanted to today.

Told my GF we would leave at 10 to grocery shop and it turned into 11(I was ready at 10am) then she wanted to stop real quick at a shop on the way back from lunch. Of course we had to go to lunch first. Then 45 minutes later after the shop we stop at the drug store for her prescription then back home to drop leftover off.

Yeah it was like 2pm when we got home. We are going to dinner at 5pm with her family.

I spent most of the morning feeling bad for myself- I got my worst placements of the season yesterday- 4 2nds and a 3rd. Then, I realized how stupid I was being, and celebrated with my kids. My girls did awesome. One got 1st, 2nd, 1st. One got 2nd, 3rd, 3rd. And my last one got 2nd in sparring. It's hard for them to all be in one ring, and they usually don't place that high. I was so proud that of the 9 placements in that ring, my kids got 7.

I had a braid in my hair, went all the way down the middle of my back and down past my tail bone. Well I get in my car, close the door and reach across the seat to open the other window. I was stopped short by my hair. I screamed because I thought someone was standing behind me pulling my hair, I turned around real fast and noticed ...first no one else was there...and second that my hair was caught in the door when I close it.

I went food shopping and got carried away with putting items in my trolly then was at the check out and said to the check out lady if she could give me a total. It was well over what i actually had, so i asked if she could take some stuff back.

Then she asked if i was a student and i just smiled then said it was because i look a little frustrated and new to shopping. I just smiled and nodded as i already felt a fool. o well, at least she didn't ask me for id for the wine. Makes a change.

The thing is, i think i can resolve pretty much any argument but i just can't get close to her. I just waved good night. I know she is hurting but i can't bring myself to say sorry. How bad is that.

No bad, just human. Sometimes life just works out like that. But you keep plugging away, seeing if it changes, thinking that this time it'll be different, but it's not, so you end up hurting over it.

Look LMR, I don't know the background behind this, and you can tell me where to go if you want, I'll understand.

But sometimes, these things aren't really anybodies fault they just, just 'cause people are related, it doesn't mean they are going to be best friends, we would all like the movie style relationship with a parent or sibling but real life doesn't always allow us this luxury.

What I'm trying (badly I admit) to say is don't blame yourself, that is like gnawing on a broken tooth (not that you have any to ruin your smile I'm sure:D) painfull and ultimately bleeding pointless.

My mistake, the guy I went out was his friend and I just found out that said guy talked all about it to other said guy I've been in love with. And I came to find out yesterday that Said guy I've been in love with actually was interested in me but was feeling me out and now thinks that I "obviously dont have any standards" since I went out with his friend who is not someone I (or anyone for that matter) would ever have a relationship with anyways. And now said guy who I'm in love with is completely uninterested in me.

I did something stupid and made a bad choice. Now that bad choice just screwed me royally.

Right, decided to have pie and mash for dinner

Put the pie in the oven
Peeled the spuds, put them on the hob, went to surf the net while everything cooked.
Went to check tweenty minutes later, pie cooked lovely, spuds not so, as I had forgot to turn the hob on. No problem, leave pie in hot oven to keep warm while potatoes cook.

Went back, spuds taking to long, so i put them in the microwave to speed things up, then finish of on hob. Put them back on hob, got distracted, spuds burnt to bottom of pain.

Thank god I have some chips in the freezer, otherwise I'd really be up shit creek!!!
